Passage (S1-1) Body language is a form of communication without words. So because we don't use words to point the information, it is called "nonverbal language". For example, you can use your face, your hands, your body movements and even your eyes to tell someone something that you cannot say by words! Sometimes you may have an experience of giving someone a bad eye and making that person sad. That is a perfect example of body language without using even one word. Body language is different from sign language as another form of communication. Sign language which deaf people use, like spoken language is a full language and has its own grammar system and people from all countries understand it in the same way. But body language varies from one country to another. For example, if your answer to the question "Do you like playing volleyball?" is "no", in Farsi you need to move your head up, but in English you have to move your head left to right or right to left!
